High temperatures across the state reaching the low to upper 90s. Near triple digits for Scottsbluff, Chadron & Valentine.
SE winds will be light for much of eastern Nebraska, with the bulk of the winds out west. Isolated storms will bring stronger winds Monday evening.
Wednesday evening-Thursday brings our next COLD FRONT along with strong to severe storms NW->SE. Storms could be capable of DAMAGING WINDS, HAIL & localized flooding. Stay tuned for the latest as we get closer to time!
Storms will move in Wednesday evening and continue through Thursday morning. Some beneficial rain will fall across much of the state, before a HOT & DRY stretch next week.
Next week could bring well above average temperatures across the plains! High temperatures could exceed 96-104 degrees starting Monday! AVERAGE: 89 degrees.
Precipitation wise looks well below normal next week. A few spotty rain/storm chances could occur next Friday -Saturday.
A sunny and hot next few days. Wednesday evening through Thursday brings rain/storm chances along with “cooler” temperatures. This weekend starts our HOT and DRY stretch! The start of next week, temperatures could reach the triple digits across the state. It has been 381 days since Lincoln has seen 100 degrees!
