SEVERE Storms Likely Wednesday & Thursday

A very STRONG thunderstorm with multiple wind gusts over 80 MPH is tracking SE across north central Nebraska early this morning. This storm will move through OMAHA and clip Lincoln near 5:30-6:30am. 65-75+ mph wind gusts will be possible if not LIKELY, especially near the Omaha area.

5:30-6:30am: Wind gusts near and around Lincoln will likely be near 45-55 mph, but around the Omaha area winds could gust near 65-75 mph!

6:30-7:30am: Wind gusts will continue to be near 35-45 mph once the storm moves through.

A SEVERE T-STORM WATCH is in effect until 10am for much of eastern Nebraska, due to the damaging wind threat.
