Kinkaider Brewing begins Oktoberfest before first home Husker game

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln’s Kinkaider Brewing is beginning Oktoberfest and is hosting events all September into October.

The celebration kicks off tonight.

For all the travelers coming for the Husker game, Kinkaider says they’ll give Husker fans a great spot to tailgate and stay cool.

“We started a few years ago doing it the night before the first home Husker game,” Cody Schmick said. “People are in town already for the game tomorrow. So we’re like, let’s throw a party on Friday nights.”

Kinkaider has a plan to keep everyone cool as well. They have water bottles, air conditioning and endless shade.
