Athlete of the Week: North Star’s QB Eli Schafer
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — On Friday, Lincoln Northwest, a new addition to Class A, took on Lincoln North Star in our game of the week. The North Star’s dominated, outscoring the Falcons 49-18.
The Gators’ quarterback Eli Schafer threw for 285 yards, logging three touchdowns. Schafer enters his junior year after playing behind Penn State commit Tyrell Chatman in 2025.
