Portion of S. 40th Street closed in south Lincoln due to emergency water main repair

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Transportation and Utilities has closed a portion of S. 40th St. due to emergency water main repairs.

LTU said between Pioneers Blvd. and Prescott Ave. is closed as crews work to fix the issue.

LTU said water service is expected to be restored later on Wednesday. However, more street repairs will be needed.

Drivers are encouraged to find a different way to school or work on Wednesday.
