Rain chances continue into the weekend

Showers and thunderstorms are going to be on and off through Saturday and some significant rain will be possible by the time we’re all said and done. Temperatures will be much cooler than average for a while.

Precipitation will be centered on mainly central and eastern Nebraska through Friday evening. A half an inch to up to a couple inches of additional rainfall will be possible late Thursday through late Friday.
