Lancaster County discusses new guidelines for general transportation assistance
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — On Oct. 13, the Lancaster County Board of Commissioners had a meeting and discussed guidelines for general transportation assistance.
The new rules would make it easier for people to get transportation assistance, to help reach family or other support people.
The board and attendees to the meeting said the biggest group that these new guidelines will impact is people who are homeless.
There is not a specific date for when these rules will be implemented.
