LPD partners in new Construction Coalition to reduce property crime

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department (LPD) and the AGC Nebraska Building Chapter are joining a Construction Coalition to reduce property crime.

The coalition is a first-of-its-kind initiative, according to LPD.

It brings law enforcement and construction workers together by information sharing, improved security and equipment tracking.

According to LPD, the coalition is expected to bring significant drops in damage, losses and crime incidents.
