Sunshine returns for rest of work week

Wednesday marks the fifth consecutive day with 0% possible sunshine recorded in Lincoln.  Pretty amazing considering the first nine days of March produced 100% sunshine.  That will once again change as sunshine returns Thursday afternoon.

Thursday will start out mostly cloudy, but through the morning clouds will quickly decrease.  Expect sunny skies to prevail by afternoon.

Winds will continue to gust to 35 mph Wednesday night in to early Thursday morning.  Winds will slowly decrease by Thursday afternoon.

TONIGHT:  Overcast.  Lows in the lower 30°s.  Wind chill values in the lower 20°s.

THURSDAY:  Decreasing clouds through the morning, becoming sunny by afternoon.  Highs will be in the upper 40°s to lower 50°s.

FRIDAY:  Sunny skies.  Highs in the middle 50°s.
