Vigil held at capitol for synagogue shooting victims

Thursday night, a vigil at the capitol honoring the victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting was held.
“I am sick and tired of people being treated as ‘other,’ instead of fellow human beings,” said Rabbi Teri Appleby of South Street Temple.
In addition to commemorating victims, they encouraged attendees to ask elected officials to take a public stand against what they said is a trend of hate in America.
Eleven people died in the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting last week.
It was the deadliest attack on the Jewish community in the U.S.
