OPD: Bomb threats not credible, investigation continues

ELKHORN, Neb. (KLKN) — Friday morning, multiple bomb threats were made in Elkhorn and Omaha, according to unconfirmed scanner reports.
Although reports about threats to Union Pacific and Elkhorn Public Schools have been made, the Omaha Police Department (OPD) released a statement saying they “do not believe these threats are credible.”
OPD is aware of multiple threats to various locations in Omaha. We do not believe these threats are credible. The threats are under investigation.

OPD is asking local residents to report any suspicious or threatening phone calls they may have received to 911 for follow-up.
