Going from fall to summer this weekend

After a chilly start to Saturday – lows in the 40°s – temperatures should quickly rebound, especially late morning through early afternoon.  High temperatures should top out in the upper 70°s to around 80° under sunny skies throughout southeast Nebraska.

Winds will shift from the southwest to the south during the afternoon.  A few wind gusts to 20 mph will be possible.

Temperatures won’t fall as much Saturday night in to Sunday morning.  Lows will only be in the middle 50°s.

Expect a quick warm-up Sunday morning through early afternoon as temperatures climb to around 90°.  It would not surprise me to have a few locales report temperatures in the low 90°s.
