Freeze Warnings and Frost Advisories to start weekend; Sunshine leads to warmer temperatures
Clear skies and light wind Saturday morning will allow temperatures to drop to the lower and middle 30°s. This will likely lead to the first widespread frost of the season throughout southeast Nebraska.
While it will be a cold morning, sunny skies will allow it to warm in to the middle to upper 60°s Saturday afternoon. Winds may begin to gust to 15 mph during the afternoon.
Temperatures will likely drop back to the 30°s and lower 40°s Sunday morning as high pressure moves off to the east. This will also turn our winds out of the south through the day, sending temperatures to above normal levels – highs in the middle to upper 70°s.
