LPD: Lincoln man arrested for meth, knives

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police arrested 45-year-old Jason Densberger after finding knives and meth in his truck during a traffic stop.

The officer contacted Densberger after he observed him driving with expired in-transit papers near 40th and Adams on Monday.

A 16-year-old was in the passenger seat of the vehicle when police contacted Densberger.

The officer took Densberger into custody after finding that he was driving with a suspended license.

During a search of the vehicle and Densberger, the officer found a total of five knives, $150 cash, 19.3 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested Densberger for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Possess Money while Violating a Drug Law, Carry a Concealed Weapon, 2nd Subsequent Offense, Driving under Suspension, and Child Abuse.
