Lancaster County Sheriff running for re-election
Terry Wagner has announced he is running for re-election at a Thursday morning press conference.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lancaster County Sheriff, Terry Wagner, announced his run for re-election at a Thursday morning press conference.
Wagner became Sheriff of Lancaster County in 1994 and is the 2nd longest serving Sheriff in the county’s history.
According to a state website, Wagner is the administrator of the 8th largest law enforcement agency in Nebraska with 77 deputies, 27 civilian personnel and a $14.5 million budget.
Before his election as Sheriff, Wagner worked as a deputy sheriff for 18 years.
