Former LPS custodian arrested for sexual assault

LPS says investigations show the alleged sexual assaults had no connection to his position he held at Lincoln Public Schools.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A former Lincoln Public Schools custodian was arrested last week for sexual assault allegations and faces several charges stemming from a police investigation.

According to the Lancaster County Jail, Randall Stollar, 60, was arrested last Wednesday on four charges of sexual assault.

Stollar faces two counts of 1st-degree sexual assault of a child and two counts of third-degree sexual assault of a child.

According to an arrest affidavit, all four victims were female and under the age of 16.

Stollar was a former custodian at Lincoln East High School and Brownell Elementary School.

An email was sent out to both Brownell and East families Tuesday on the matter.

Lincoln Public Schools released this statement:

“Lincoln Public Schools had no involvement or reason for involvement with the investigation conducted by Lincoln Police. We’ve been informed by police the incidents do not have a connection to the position he held at Lincoln Public Schools. Randall Stollar is no longer an employee at LPS.”

Stollar’s bond is set at $750,000, according to the Lancaster County Jail.

He is set to be in court for a hearing next month.
