Local law firm begins holiday taxi service to keep roads safe

According to the U.S. National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, drunk drivers play a role in 40% of traffic deaths over Christmas and New Years.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Friedman Law is partnering with Z-Trip to offer a free taxi program to provide safe rides home to those who have been drinking this holiday season.

According to the U.S. National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, drunk drivers play a role in 40% of traffic deaths over Christmas and New Years.

To avoid the loss of lives due to drunk driving, Friedman Law began the Let Friedman Drive program.

Friedman Law says they have a commitment and dedication to the community to provide this service to keep people safe during the holidays.

The program, Let Friedman Drive, runs from Dec. 15 to Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. To receive a free ride home, users need to do the following steps:

• Use promo code “FREERIDE” in the Z-trip app
• Call 402-474-7233
• Request the Let Friedman Drive program when calling Z-Trip for a cab.
