A cooler weekend, storm chances remain

Storms have been moving across the state overnight lately, and that trend will continue into the weekend.

There is a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe storms tonight into early Saturday morning. A couple of strong storms will be possible.

Along with the small severe weather potential, some much needed rain is possible, too.

One more warm day for SE Nebraska on Saturday, but cooling off for everybody else.

Storms will once again be possible overnight across Nebraska Saturday into very early Sunday.

After storms move through early Sunday, it’ll be much cooler with highs near 80!
