LINCOLN, Neb., (KLKN) — A Milford couple made their trip to the polls a bit more exciting, by riding their horses.
Molly and David Dickinson took their horses, Earl and Boone, for a ride from North of Milford to Ruby, taking advantage of the warm weather, while exercising their right to vote.

“Well when I was a little girl, I rode my horse to country school every day,” said Molly. “So when I looked at the forecast, I told David it looks beautiful. I think I’m going to ride my horse to the country school and vote cause this is an old country school. So, I said I’m going to do that if you want to go.”

David told Channel 8 he laughed at first but decided “happy wife, happy life” and joined her for the ride. Molly says voting was important but the horses made Election Day 2020 more nostalgic.
