Additional arrests made in deadly shooting on O Street, Lincoln Police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police arrested two more men on Wednesday in connection with a shooting death on O Street in late September.
On Sept. 26, just one day after the homicide, police arrested 22-year-old Jahhrasta Fletcher of Lincoln.
The arrest was made after police found security video of Jahhrasta meeting Robert Brannon, 33, of Omaha in an alley.
Police say the video shows Jahhrasta pulling out a gun and shooting Brannon multiple times.
During their investigation, police identified two additional suspects in connection with the shooting.
Jahhfarr Fletcher, 20, and Said Salahuddin, 27, both of Lincoln, were arrested on Wednesday.
Jahhfarr was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to a Class 1 felony, tampering with physical evidence and tampering with a witness.
Salahuddin was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory to a Class 1 felony.
Police have still not said if the men all knew each other prior to the shooting.
This year, there have been more shooting incidents and victims of shootings in Lincoln than in the each of the past five years.
