Aurora’s Danica Badura wins Nebraska Women’s Amateur

The future South Dakota Coyote is the first golfer to win both the Nebraska Women's Amateur and the Nebraska Girl's Amateur in the same year.

LINCOLN – Danica Badura is the 46th Nebraska Women’s Amateur champion after edging out Wahoo’s Lindsey Thiele by two strokes on Wednesday. Badura shot a 5-under-par 67 in the final round at the Country Club of Lincoln.

The future South Dakota Coyote is the first golfer to win both the Nebraska Women’s Amateur and the Nebraska Girl’s Amateur in the same year. Badura also won the Nebraska Women’s Match player title this summer.

Pius X sophomore Nicole Kolbas finished in third at 5-over-par.
