Biden responds to attack on Kabul airport
U.S. officials say the attack on Thursday killed 72, and wounded many more
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – President Joe Biden held a press conference on Thursday in response to the recent attacks outside of the Kabul airport. According to U.S. officials 72 people were killed, including 12 U.S. service members. 143 were also wounded in the attack.
“We will not forgive, we will not forget. We will hunt you down, and make you pay,” says Biden at the press conference.
Biden vowed to complete the evacuation of troops from Afghanistan, despite the recent attack.
