Bond denied for man accused of killing, burying Nebraska woman in Kansas

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The man accused of killing a Nebraska woman who disappeared back in November will remain behind bars.

Bond was denied for Aldrick Scott on Tuesday, and prosecutors also revealed new details about Cari Allen’s death.

They say the 43-year-old, who previously dated Scott, was killed from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Prosecutors also say evidence shows that Allen died in Omaha before her body was buried in Topeka, Kansas.

Scott’s charges have been upgraded to include first-degree murder, in addition to tampering with evidence.
