Bryan Health reports 6 COVID-19 deaths over the weekend

On Monday, Bryan Health reported six COVID-19 patients died over the weekend. That brings the hospital's total deaths to 267 since the beginning of the pandemic.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — On Monday, Bryan Health reported six COVID-19 patients died over the weekend. That brings the hospital’s total deaths to 267 since the beginning of the pandemic.

In a press release, Bryan Health also reported 65 total COVID-19 patients with 14 that are no longer infectious. That includes nine patients on ventilators.

Thirty three of those patients are from Lancaster County, while 18 are from outside the county.

Pediatric census is currently six patients. There is one pediatric COVID-19 test pending. Transfer options throughout the region remain extremely limited.

The Lancaster County Health Department is expected to announce the county’s full COVID-19 numbers later in the day on Monday.
