Charlie Easley has message for high school players with D-I dreams

“If you want something bad enough and you work for it, why don’t you go and get it?” Easley said Friday.

The Pius X grad walked on for Husker basketball after helping the Thunderbolts win a Class B state title last March.

Nebraska (7-9, 2-3 Big Ten) lost at Northwestern on Saturday. The Huskers travel to Ohio State on Tuesday with a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.
