Chilly precipitation chances

A rain snow mix will be possible Saturday, then we dry out for a few days. However, the temperatures will continue to be several degrees below average for highs. We eventually get back to and above average by the middle of next week!

3day Lincoln Forecast With Hourlies

The rain snow mix is most likely in the Lincoln area during the morning hours, but a few showers may linger into the afternoon hours. Snow may mix in with the rain, but the better chance for that is in the northern half of Nebraska.

Model Ice

There is a chance some of us could see a little freezing drizzle overnight into the morning hours on Saturday. The areas shaded in pink above will have a chance at seeing a little icing. Travel may become difficult on untreated surfaces.

Any Model Latest Run 8am

As the morning progresses, the rain snow mix is most likely in eastern Nebraska. Above, green is rain, pink is a rain/snow mix, and the white and blue is snow.

Any Model Latest Run Noon

By noon, much of the precipitation will have moved into Iowa, but a few lingering showers will continue for parts of eastern and SE Nebraska.

Any Model Latest Run 3pm

The light rain showers may continue into the mid afternoon time frame before moving completely out.

Skycast Weekend Forecast

After the rain/snow mix on Saturday, the sun comes out on Sunday. Temperatures will remain much cooler than average through the weekend and into early next week.
