Cold morning, mild afternoons
It’s going to be chilly across Nebraska the next couple of morning, but we do warm up for the afternoon. Even warmer temperatures are right around the corner.
A FROST ADVISORY is in place for much of the eastern half of the state early Friday morning.
20s and 30s for lows are expected early Friday. If you have planted your gardens already, covering them would be a good idea!
We warm up into the 60s by Friday afternoon. Mild, but with a gusty north wind, it’ll feel a little chilly.
Another cold morning is expected Saturday. More Frost Advisories and possibly some Freeze Warnings are possible.
Then it starts to really warm up. Upper 60s and low 70s are expected Saturday afternoon.
Unfortunately, we still need rain and not a lot of it is in the forecast. The drought will continue to get worse heading into May.
Our next chance for rain comes our way late Monday into Tuesday, then a small chance on Wednesday. That’s about it for rain chances over the next 10 days.
