Consistency, not effort plagues Husker men in Indiana loss
Back to the drawing board for Fred Hoiberg’s bunch.
The Huskers dropped their third-straight game Saturday against Indiana. However, if it wasn’t for a five-minute stretch in the beginning of the second half, where Indiana went on a 15-2 run, Nebraska could have knocked off the Hoosiers.
So it’s consistency, not effort that continues to plague the Big Red.
“I think overall we’re getting better,” Thorir Thorbjarnarson, a junior guard, said post game. “It’s just hard, you know? Hard to win a game in the Big Ten.”
Nebraska (7-11, 2-5 Big Ten) travels to Wisconsin on Tuesday.
