Cool end to the week, warmer weekend
At or below average for temperatures the next few days, but we warm up into the 40s and maybe the 50s by the weekend! Precipitation chances are small over the next 10 days, but there are a few here and there.
Tonight in Lincoln, we’ll drop to around 15 degrees, which is exactly the average low for this time of year. Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies and a light southwest breeze is expected.
We’ll all drop to around our normal low by early Thursday morning. Lower and middle teens are expected.
For Thursday, the wind does pick up somewhat, but temperatures will be near normal. We’ll see mostly sunny skies with a northwest wind.
Upper 20s to the upper 30s will be seen for highs on Thursday. A little cooler where there’s more snow on the ground.
A cool day on Thursday and a little colder on Friday, but we start to warm up on Saturday. Upper 40s and lower 50s are possible over the weekend!
Also, if you like astronomy, we are able to see the “Green Comet” right now! It’s closest to the earth this week, so if you can brave the cold, grab the binoculars or telescope and check it out!
