Daily coronavirus cases remain low in Lancaster County

The Health Department is still urging caution, keeping the COVID risk dial in elevated yellow, indicating a moderate risk of the virus spreading.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Sunday, the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announced 41 new coronavirus cases have been reported, bringing the total to 27,521.

The number of total deaths remains at 210.

This week’s positivity rate is currently 25.6%.

Nearly 11,829 people have recovered from the virus, with around 5,000 vaccines being administered to those 65 and older at the recent vaccination clinic.
