Early May weekend forecast
There may be a few lingering showers and storms early Saturday morning, but all of the severe storms from the night before will be gone.
Above shows where the lingering showers may be early Saturday morning. Most of the state is looking dry.
After the rain moves all the way out, Saturday will see more sunshine, warm up fairly quick, and see a nice SE breeze.
By Saturday afternoon, we’ll see a lot of lower, middle, and even a few upper 80s. Maybe even a couple of 90s in extreme SE Nebraska!
On Sunday, we have the Lincoln Marathon and it’s going to be a warm day. There’s a small chance for an early storm, too, but much of the day is looking dry. The afternoon high will get into the middle 80s.
Overall, storms are possible each day all the way through the end of next week. Not everybody will see storms every day, but there’s a chance. Temperatures will remain very warm and in the 80s all the way through Thursday. Mother’s Day weekend is looking good!
