Edgewood shooting victims ID’d, police ask for help with investigation

Lincoln Police are asking for the public's help as they continue to investigate Monday night's shooting outside Edgewood Cinema.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Police are asking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate Monday night’s shooting outside Edgewood Cinema.

LPD says several people were in the area at the time of the shooting, and that some of them may have attempted to aid the victims prior to officers arriving.

Investigators would like to speak with those people as they may have information that can be helpful to the investigation. 

Anyone with information is asked to call 402-441-6000 speak with an investigator or leave a tip anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600. 

Police on Wednesday identified the victims as 19-year-old Jayden Prentice and 18-year-old Christopher Duncan.

No arrests have been made.
