Former Omaha Skutt player Caden Becker transfers to Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A former Omaha Skutt Catholic Hich School football player is returning to Nebraska.

On Monday, Caden Becker – who spent last season at Wyoming – announced that he has committed to play at Nebraska.

Becker was a quarterback at Skutt.

During his senior season, Becker threw for 1,238 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions during his senior season.  He also had 544 rushing yards with eight touchdowns.

But at Wyoming, the former three-star recruit did not see any playing time and was redshirted.

In April, Becker announced that he would be entering the transfer portal as a tight end and an athlete.

It is not yet known what position Becker will play with the Huskers.  He will have four years of eligibility left.
