Four former Huskers invited to the NFL Combine
Four former Husker football players are headed to Indianapolis at the end of the month to participate in the NFL Combine.
Defensive linemen Darrion Daniels, Carlos and Khalis Davis and cornerback Lamar Jackson have all been invited.
Daniels played one season with the Huskers, transferring from Oklahoma State. He recorded 3.5 tackles for loss at the noseguard position. He also had one interception last year.
The Davis twins head to Indianapolis after combing for 15.5 tackles for loss and 12 sacks. Khalil led the Huskers with eight sacks his senior season.
Lamar Jackson was the only player selection as an All-Big Ten performer last season in both the coaches and media polls. He was a second-team selection at cornerback, tying for the team lead with three interceptions.
The NFL Combine is set to run from Feb. 24 to March 1.
