Fred Hoiberg looks to keep Huskers’ morale high during losing skid

Times are tough in Lincoln for Husker men’s basketball.

Nebraska dropped its sixth-straight game Tuesday night to Michigan at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Hoiberg said it’s his responsibility to make sure the Big Red stay positive.

“When the tough times hit and you see heads dropping, this league is too good,” Hoiberg said. “We have to thin of a margin to overcome that.”

The Huskers host Penn State in the annual Suits and Sneakers game on Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
