Gov. Ricketts addresses the legislature during unicameral

With COVID 19, it's been a strange year for the legislature.

With COVID 19, it’s been a strange year for the legislature. On Friday morning, the governor talked to senators.

“This legislature sprung into action, provided over 83 million dollars to the state to fighting the pandemic,” said Ricketts. “This has been perhaps the most greatest challenge our state has faced in a generation.”

The session was split this year. With only 13 days left for the unicameral, Governor Ricketts thanked senators for their efforts and work during the pandemic.
He reminded the legislature to focus on property tax relief, job incentives, and tax relief for veterans.
