Heavy rain headed our way
Rain is likely as we head through the week. Flooding is a potential with several waves moving through Tuesday evening, Wednesday, then into Thursday.
There is a “Slight Risk” for Excessive Rainfall Tuesday evening. The rain won’t come all at once, but a half an inch to an inch will be possible with each wave.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storm chances Tuesday, Wednesday, into Thursday.
The Excessive Rainfall potential lingers into Wednesday.
After the rain is done, some of us may get over 3″ of rainfall. In fact, those in the red shaded area above may see 2-4″ of rain with a few spots close to 6″.
It will be mild, though. High temperatures on Tuesday will be in the 60s and 70s.
After the rain chances through Thursday, we dry out with a lot of 60s for highs!
