Husker hoops gains big man commit

The Huskers landed a commit from 6-10, 220-pound center Eduardo Andre for the 2020 class on Tuesday. 

Nebraska basketball finally has its big man.

The Huskers landed a commit from 6-10, 220-pound center Eduardo Andre for the 2020 class on Tuesday.

Andre, a three-star prospect, didn’t start playing basketball until four years ago in London. He finished his high school career at Chandler Compass Prep in Phoenix, Arizona. He chose the Huskers over offers from Illinois, Texas A&M and San Diego State.

Andre joins a recruiting class that includes two junior college transfers and three transfers.

The Huskers have now filled their allotted scholarships for this upcoming season.
