Husker men’s hoops announces 2022 nonconference schedule

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska men’s basketball announced its nonconference schedule for the 2022-23 season, which includes matchups with Creighton and Kansas State.

The team will open up its season with a three-game homestand against Chadron State, the University of Maine and UNO.

The non-conference schedule includes a matchup in New York against St. John’s in the Gavitt Tipoff Games on Nov. 17.

The Huskers will also take a trip to Orlando for the ESPN Invitational, whose bracket will feature teams like Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Seton Hall.

Nebraska is then set to face Boston College at home for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Of course, the Huskers will be taking a trip up to Omaha for their annual matchup against the Blue Jays on Dec. 4.

Fred Hoiberg’s squad is also scheduled to meet Kansas State at a neutral site game in Kansas City, Missouri, on Dec. 17.

Ending off the nonconference schedule is a home game against the Queen’s University of Charlotte at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Dec. 20.
