LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Blackshirts are out.

Defensive coordinator Erik Chinander confirmed that on Tuesday following the Huskers practice. However, Chinander didn’t want to release who received the coveted practice jersey.

“The Blackshirts mean more to me than social media,” Chinander said.

Nebraska’s defense has now played back to back solid games. The Huskers held Northwestern to just 21 points and 317 yards of total offense two weeks ago. Penn State was held to 23 points, while the Big Red held the Nittany Lions out of the endzone twice late in the fourth quarter, helping Nebraska to a 30-23 win.
