Huskers look to Damion “Snacks” Daniels to anchor defensive line
"If we're going into war, going into a fight, I want to go fight with Snacks," said Tony Tuioti, Nebraska's defensive line coach.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The nickname has stuck since his freshman year. However, don’t let Damion Daniels 6-4, 340-pound frame fool you.
“If we’re going into war, going into a fight, I want to go fight with Snacks,” said Tony Tuioti, Nebraska’s defensive line coach.
Damion “Snacks” Daniels appears poised to take over the nose tackle position for his older brother Darrion, and anchor that Husker defensive line.
And as one of the few upper classmen on the front line, Daniels will have to lead a young, talented bunch. Daniels had 12 tackles in 12 games for the Big Red last year.
