In-state foe UNO snaps Nebraska baseball’s win streak

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska baseball’s win streak came to an end Tuesday night after a loss to UNO.

Nebraska, which had won nine of its last 10 games, lost 10-6 to the Mavericks under the lights at Haymarket Park.

In the third inning, Nebraska got an early lead thanks to RBIs from Max Anderson and Cole Evans, who was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Monday.

The Huskers then lost the lead in the fourth inning after UNO scored four runs on three walks and a fielder’s choice.

Nebraska reclaimed the lead in the fifth inning but was quickly outscored by the Mavericks in the Sixth.
