Bolt says the talent in the state is as high as he's ever seen it. And when you meld that with the passion that comes with Husker athletics, it's the perfect combination.

LINCOLN — When Will Bolt was hired as Nebraska’s baseball coach, he put a newfound emphasis on in-state recruiting.

So far, so good.

The Huskers have added several top prospects and junior college transfers from Nebraska. Bolt says the talent in the state is as high as he’s ever seen it. And when you meld that with the passion that comes with Husker athletics, it’s the perfect combination.

“They grow up with Huskers in their blood,” Bolt said.

Nebraska continues fall camp through October.
