Inmate missing from Community Corrections Center

Armando Lerma did not return to the facility after his work assignment Wednesday night

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- An inmate has been reported missing from the Community Corrections Center-Lincoln (CCC-L).

40-year-old Armando Lerma did not return to the facility after his work assignment Wednesday night.

Lerma is 5’1″, 225 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes.

Lerma began his sentence on May 20, 2020. He was sentenced to three years for drug-related charges (marijuana and methamphetamine) as well as operating a motor vehicle to avoid arrest. His tentative release date was November 17, 2021.

Those with knowledge of his location are asked to contact local authorities or the Nebraska State Patrol.
