Lancaster County Election Commission hosts registration event

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) –  The Lancaster County Election Commission will hold a fifth voter registration event on Saturday to help prepare voters for the November General Election.

Any Nebraska resident who will be 18 on or before Nov. 8, has moved, changed their name, or would like to change their political party affiliation, may register to vote.

Registration will be available from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hy-Vee located at 5020 N 27th Street.

Voters with a Nebraska Driver’s License or State Identification card can register to vote online, at the Election Commission’s office or through the mail.

Mail-in registration forms are available at most post offices, banks and libraries.  Registration forms can also be printed off from the commission’s website and mailed in.

Citizens may also register to vote at the Election Commissioner’s Office, 601 North 46th Street, Lincoln.   The office is open on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
