Lincoln disc golf course repeats as one of the world’s best

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department on Monday announced that one of the city’s disc golf courses ranked as one of the top courses in the world once again.
According to UDisc — the disc golf course application and directory — the Beal Slough Disc Golf Course ranked 73rd in its World’s Best Disc Golf Courses Top 100.
This is the third consecutive year the course landed in the top 100. The course was ranked 88th in 2024 and 70th in 2025, and is the only Nebraska course on the list. UDisc also ranks it as the 48th best course in the United States.
There are more than 17,000 courses registered on UDisc.
“We’re excited to see Beal Slough ranked 73rd on the list of the world’s best disc golf courses. This is the third time the course has earned a Top 100 ranking,” said Maggie Stuckey-Ross, Parks and Recreation Director. “This honor is a reflection of the strong and growing disc golf community in Lincoln and across Nebraska. We’re especially grateful for the Lincoln Flying Disc Club volunteers, whose dedication and passion have helped shape the course and make recognition like this possible.”
The Beal Slough, located at 60th Street and Pine Lake Road, is an 18-hole course that first opened in 2021. The par-62 course features five layouts for players of various skill levels. A practice area includes two standard baskets, a marksman basket, two warm-up nets with concrete pads and a 500-foot driving range.
While the city of Lincoln owns the course, it was constructed by the Lincoln Flying Disc Club through an agreement with the city.
The nonprofit club maintains the course and raises funds for improvements and maintenance through donations, and suggests a $5 daily fee and a $75 annual fee.
