Lincoln election results: LPS school board

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three seats for the Lincoln Public Schools board of education were up for grabs in Tuesday’s general election.

Piyush Srivastav had 7,903 votes for the board’s District 2 seat, while Emmy Pollen had 5,251.

Annie Mumgaard has the lead in District 4 with 3,395 votes.  Her opponent, Alaina Brouillette, has 2,299 votes.

In the final seat open for contention, District 6, incumbent Bob Rauner secured the position with 8,016 votes.  Richard R. Aldag IV had 4,959 votes.

The Lancaster County Election Commission estimates there are fewer than 4,000 votes left to count.
