Lincoln Northeast student-athletes working out over Zoom

"The goal, first and foremost, is to be able to stay connected," Rocket football coach Dan Martin said.

Dan Martin just wanted to help the Lincoln Northeast student-athletes any way he could.

So the Rockets’ head football coach developed a “after school” weight lifting program over Zoom, every weekday at 3:00 p.m.

“After kind of the normal school day activities are done,” Martin said.

It’s not just about the workout either. Martin said he wanted the athletes to be able to see their classmates during this time of social distancing.

“The goal, first and foremost, is to be able to stay connected,” Martin said.
