A health department spokeswoman said: “our phone system is currently experiencing a high volume of calls related to scheduling appointments and vaccine registration assistance. Callers may experience delays and those who are unable to get through should try again. We appreciate people’s patience as we work to address this issue.”

LLCHD started contacting people 80 years and older who registered to receive the vaccine to schedule their appointment at Friday’s clinic at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
