Lincoln Weather Update: Sunday, July 12

Following a seasonably warm day, temperatures will drop into the mid 60s overnight with mostly clear skies and winds out of the south-southeast at 5-10mph. A strong southerly flow will help our temperatures increase into the low 90s tomorrow. Higher humidity values will make it feel like the mid 90s making for a sticky, hot, summer day. Breezy conditions develop during the afternoon hours with southerly wind gusts up to 25mph.

A cold front arrives late Monday evening delivering strong to severe storms to the region. Large hail and damaging winds are the main threats anticipated with these storms. While the majority of these storms could persist to our north, some of these storms could trickle down into our area and persist into the morning hours Tuesday.
